Bodog Poker Review

Rating

BodogPoker springs from the excellent sports book bodog.com. One of the great things about an online poker room connected to a sports book is that the games tend to be fantastic. Bodog is no exception.

Although their software is a bit bland, the games and promotions at Bodog are outstanding. And with a very good customer service department, Bodog ranks right up there with some of our favorite rooms. While the room might not be as good as NoblePoker or EmpirePoker, we recommend checking out this site.

(Note: This poker room does not allow U.S. players)

Customer Service and Support

The service and support at Bodog is great. With years of service in the sports book industry, Bodog knows how to take care of their customers. We had no complaints at all, and all of our concerns were handled quickly and efficiently.

Player Loyalty Program

Bodog does not currently have a loyalty program in place for the players. They do offer buy-in deposit bonuses and referral bonuses, however.

More About Bodog Poker

Poker Software

The software at Bodog is simple to use, but not very exciting. It has a feel of something that has perhaps been built as an afterthought to offer the sports book players something extra. The options are many, however, and finding games in the lobby is simple.

One unique feature of Bodog's software is a preview of the table. You can actually watch some of the action in a preview window before actually going to the table. This assists in game selection.

We had several disconnection problems with the software, although it seemed to come back rather quickly without much of an interruption in game play.

Games and Limits

Bodog offers games with limits ranging from $.05/$.10 no-limit, pot-limit and limit games up to $10/$20 no-limit and $30/$60 limit games.

Bodog offers Hold'em (limit, no-limit and pot-limit), Omaha and Omaha/8 (limit and pot-limit), and 7-Card Stud (both hi and hi-low).

Bodog offers both sit-n-go and multi-table tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $1 to $540. There is a good selection of sit-n-go tournaments and heads-up tournaments as well as regularly scheduled events, freerolls and satellites.

Bodog also offers many freeplay games.
