PKR Review![]() 2.5
PKR poker is fairly new on the online poker scene. Their intention was to make a huge splash in the pool, and they've certainly succeeded at that. PKR focused on building the most graphically advanced and realistic software on the market, and they've done an excellent job. The graphics are the best in the business.

Customer Service and SupportWe didn't have any experiences with the customer support department at PKR. After playing only for a short time in the play money games, we decided that it just wasn't worth the effort to make a deposit and actually play for money. |
Player Loyalty ProgramPlayers playing in cash games and tournaments can earn PKR Points. These points are earned in a slightly different manner than other sites. Points are based upon how much money a player contributes to each pot, divided by the number of players in the pot, with a maximum of 300 PKR points per hand. A player also earns PKR points in tournaments, banking 100 points for every $1 in tournament entry fees paid. |
The software at PKR is simply amazing. The graphics are the most realistic you'll find anywhere in the online poker world, and the features and options reminded us of advanced home gaming systems.
From realistic player images and actions to the best sounds in any poker game out there, PKR can be truly fun to play... as long as you’re not in a hurry. With so many options and heavy graphics, the software is not at all intuitive. There are so many new things to get used to that PKR suggests taking their course on how to use the software.
Furthermore, although it's delightful to look at and listen to, the game pace is the slowest on the internet. With all the bells and whistles, PKR seems to have forgotten that one of the biggest allures to the online poker player is fast play.
PKR offers many limits of poker, but only in Hold'em and Omaha. They offer no stud games. And while they claim to offer a huge selection of limit and no-limit, most of the tables were empty.
Games are offered from the "micro limits" of $.01/$.02 up to $100/$200 limit and $5/$10 no-limit.
