SportsBook Review![]() 3
Sportsbook.com poker is an interesting mix of a poker room with a sportsbook. They do a fairly good job of combining the two and making them intuitive and easy to navigate. The graphics are very high-tech, although the software is not as easy to use, and things seem to occasionally drag.
(Note: This poker room does not allow U.S. players) |

Customer Service and SupportWe found the customer service at sports book to be well-intentioned but a little slow. Several issues took more than one contact with support, and although they were resolved, it was obvious to us that they might be a bit under-staffed at the moment. This could certainly improve with time. |
Player Loyalty ProgramThe Gold Chip Program is what Sports book.com uses for player loyalty. For each raked hand or tournament entry paid, players earn frequent player points. For every level of frequent player points earned, the player earns up to six gold chips. These gold chips can be redeemed for tournament entry fees in special Gold Chip tournaments. |
Sportsbook.com has developed one of the best looking interfaces in all of online poker. With real-life avatars and settings for the players, the interface is very pleasing to the eye. The only problem is, with all that fancy goodness, the software is often slow and choppy.
The sound effects seem a bit contrived, and are often too high-pitched and annoying. They can be turned off, although using this software to customize your user experience isn’t as easy as some of the other poker rooms we’ve reviewed.
Sportsbook.com offers the following games, with limits ranging from $.02/$.04 no-limit and pot-limit games and $.04/$.08 limit games up to $25/$50 no-limit, $3/$6 pot-limit and $100/$200 limit games
Sportsbook.com offers Hold'em (limit, no-limit and pot-limit), Omaha and Omaha/8 (limit and pot-limit), and 7-Card Stud (both hi and hi-low).
For tournament players, Sportsbook.com offers a variety of sit-n-go tournaments from 2-10 players, as well as regularly scheduled multi-table tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $1 to $312.
There is also a limited selection of free games that enable the beginning player to familiarize himself with the software and game play.
Sportsbook.com offers a unique option to play blackjack right from your poker table. We think this option is a plus that earns Sportsbook.com a little higher rating than it normally would receive.
